Yardarm Flagpole

Our yardarm flag poles are particularly popular with navy, bowling and yacht clubs, as they offer a take on the traditional nautical flagpole, which is where they get their name from (please see wikipedia for more information on the term ‘yard’ in sailing). Yardarm flagpoles are also popular with businesses who want to display an Australian National Flag, an Aboriginal flag and a Torres Strait Islander flag on one pole, although they can of course fly any flag of your choosing.

Poseidon Poles’ yardarm flag poles are manufactured in Australia and are made from marine grade aluminium, with an external halyard. We offer the yardarm poles in a 7.5m, 9m and 12m height, in both a straight and tapered style. Other pole heights and internal halyards are available – please call us on 02 98387725 or contact us here for any custom designs. We can also offer an additional gaff to the yardarm if required.

The 9m and 12m poles come with a hinged base for easy installation and maintenance. The poles are also available finished in white, anodised, or custom powder-coated in the colour of your choice. • 7.5m yardarm flagpole flies a 2 yard flag at the top and a 1 yard or 1.5 yard flag off the yard arms.
• 9m yardarm flagpole flies a 3 yard flag at the top and a 2 yard flag off the yard arms.
• 12m yardarm flagpole flies a 4 yard flag at the top and 2 or 3 yard flag off the arms.
